Yes, believe it. You can even machine wash our garments. Advances in wool kniting and construction mean that all our garments wash well in a warm, gentle wash.

Wool works best against the skin - (45 million New Zealand sheep can't be wrong). Putting a cotton or polyester top underneath negates performance. If cool, add another wool layer for optimum performance. Contrary to popular belief, wool works well in summer too - it stops the body overheating.
